NEEDED: Lactating cat...or very motherly cat in Martinsburg, WV

    I have a 12-14 day old kitten who is not doing so well....if I could even borrow a cat for a day...preferably a lactating one, maybe one who has lost her kittens or whos kittens have just been weaned....i really need help! please! ive tried everything else!

    Did you try enriched kitten formula from the vets office. I have used it in the past.

    this is a formula that my now retired vet gave me years ago. I have used it with much success in my rescuing.

    1 can evaporated milk
    1 raw egg
    2 drops of baby vitamins

    Mix together and keep refrigerated. Take out just a little bit. Microwave for seconds just to take the chill off (be careful not to cook the eggs) and feed by syringe.
