Hoping someone out here could help me with do i have a rooster or hen
You have a very sweet little pullet.
Thank you I wasn't sure do to the size so much larger than the rest
Notice her stance. A rooster coming of age will stand erect, with an imaginary straight line going up his legs and through his neck and head. A hen stands with her weight more forward, putting the line up her legs ending in the middle of her back.
Roosters begin having this posture about the time their combs enlarge and turn bright red, around eight weeks.
Thank you great info! When I got the two they said they were red sex links but as babies from what i have read their color should have made them roosters
You will know for certain when you either hear a crow or find an egg.
It looks like a pretty little red sex link pullet
