NEEEEEEEEED button quail! lol

Mothergoose may have some. I will in a few weeks, but I don't have a big flock right now. Doubt you want to wait for my girls to start laying.

Well, I will have some soon too. I got my first egg today, yippee!!!! Not sure if it is fertile but I do have more males than females. And I am going to separate them into separate cages as soon as I can. But it is so exciting to get my first egg. Maybe soon I will have button eggs available???

Here is a pic of the egg next to a nickel.

I just keep tempting you don't I. Sorry.

I too should have eggs available the next week or two. I have 4 (pearl?) silver males, 2 normal females, and a cinnamon female. This was my first hatch of bq, and it went really well. They are so sweet! They are just mature enough to begin laying.

I will be selling 1-2 of the males to make room, much as it pains me. I will sell the eggs as well, though if I get a silkie or two I will hatch some there too.

I am looking for silkies in northern california. Any ideas?

I got my bq eggs from Bracken ranch too! Very nice woman, and information.

However, I am looking for silkie eggs, white, buff or a mixture. My incubators only hold 3 eggs, and I have two, so I can only buy 6-8 to set, though I do have an old turnx 4 I could use.

Thankx!

I knew that...

Sorry... read it so fast, I missed the "silkie" part... that I don't know. If you haven't started a "WTB: silkies in N. CA" thread, that might be your best bet. I'm sure there's someone on BYC from there that has eggs or chicks!
