Neighbor gave us a hen, pretty sure she is a mix, but haven't seen her eggs yet.

She's got some decent lacing on the blue color. I think it's possible she's a blue copper Marans....guess you'll know when she lays

. Dark brown eggs will be Marans, regular brown eggs will be pretty barnyard mix.

I'm gonna say she's a blue andalusian. Her coloring matches exactly as ours. Her white and black marbled legs for sure! She should lay med white eggs for you if she is. Congrats! Ours is quite a character, bold, out going, and very inquisitive! I'm sure you'll enjoy her!

Actually, her ear lobe color isn't white and I notice a bit of brown coloring at her chest and neck so maybe not. By looking at some blue Marans online I think donrae might be on to something! Please update and let us all know when she does start laying!
