Nest boxes finally done!

    Close up of nest box cabinet. Found the cabinet someone was tossing after a remodel. I used 5 gallon buckets for the actual nests. Egg collection will be easy from outside. I used a piece of PVC pipe with a slit Dremeled out to go over the sharp front edge.

    I like those a lot! Simple and effective.

    Is your exterior latch going to be predator proof?

    They were going to just be divided out in boxes with wood, but I got tired of waiting for DH, lol.

    Very, very nice! Is that a round mirror I see in your coop? I never thought of that. Do they like peeking at themselves?

    Yes it is a round mirror. They like to peck at it.
