Nesting Box for a Bantam...

I have 2 OEGB hens with their 1 rooster. I'm building them a permanent coop and cannot find the size for a nesting box for my itty bitty birds

... Help Please

How old are they? I would build an 1 square foot box for them.

That is way to big. A long time BYC-er who breeds bantams told me 6" by 6" because the birds grow to only 1 pound..

He sent me beautiful eggs that are on day four and I can already see development in them.

There is no set size a nestbox has to be if the bird can go in and lay her egg and get back out.
