nesting box ramp

If the nesting box is 18-24" off the ground do i need to make ramp for them or can they hop "fly" in

You don't need a ramp but some would install a small perch in front for your birds to fly up and land on. We don't have a perch or anything just a bunch of plywood boxes mounted about 2 feet from the top of the litter. Our girls have never seemed to have a problem! Good luck,

You could attach your perch to the underside of your nest boxes...
