I have free range chickens on over 1/4 acre. They have a separate coop to roost and a shed to nest in. My pullets have just started laying in their area of the coop. They began integrating with the older hens a week ago. When I moved the nesting boxes to the shed before the pullets were born, the hens had no problem finding them. My concern is my pullets still seem to keep their distance from the older hens. Do you think they will start laying where they should as they get more comfortable moving around the property? I'm not sure what to do. Thank you for all your replies :)

hello @roccosroost ! welcome to BYC :frow
Integration takes some time in my experience. That apart, do you have fake eggs or golfballs in the nests, and do the pullets go in the shed at all? And do you collect the pullets' eggs asap after laying so the rest are not misled into thinking that is where they are supposed to lay?
