If we put more than 3 we have to stack them. Since I want them to open from the top on the outside (as opposed to the side which I'm worried would let chickens escape more easily when my kids are getting eggs) we need to be able to put just one row. Or is there a secret way to keep them from popping out the collection door?
eta: after some thought and reading the clever nest boxes thread, I decided on a new plan so we will be able to have 4 boxes and open from the side.
