I said I'd never have ducks. They're messy, stinky...

Four years ago my DH and I gave my mother two ducklings as a mother's day gag gift, fully expecting they'd come home with us and we'd resell them as adults.

Ahem, she recently counted about 30 ducks. She loved them! She ordered more, then hatched eggs under broodies and had a real flock haha. Alas, they're moving to the Villages in Florida and can't take their ducks...so I took 4 home...

They're all Blue Swedes. My drake (mom named him Cheese) is one of the original two. He's a classic blue swede. Then I have a pied black swede hen, Momma. Her daughter is Delilah - the pied blue. Then lastly is Daisy, who is a silver swede.

I've already ivermec'd them twice - mother had never done that so they had quite the worm load. Otherwise they're healthy and getting happy despite the fact that I'm not letting them have a pool (way to messy).

Is the drake the one that is top/center in the photo? He caught my eye right away . . . what a looker! Ha Ha!
