New 2.5 Gal Feeder

    I put this feeder together yesterday and there is a lot less feed being wasted now. I ended up moving it under the coop so it will be less likely to get wet. The chicks sure do like it...well, I guess they just like the feed.

    It looks like an "oil change" pan, but TSC has rubber feed pans that size too​

    It was an oil change or some sort of catch pan from Walmart. $2.50 or so.

    Forgot to mention, I trimmed the lip from the pan. It's now 1.5 - 2" deep.

    I love how simple that feeder is and holds alot. How many holes did you put in the bucket for the feed to come thru?
