New adoption- any idea on the breed?

    A local girl hatched this little cutie and might be loaning it to our flock. I was just wondering if anyone had a breed or gender guess. I might have to pick up an extra chick from the feed store to keep it company till it is old enough for the coop.

    Looking up the breed, I think you might be right. The white tips on the new feathers threw me off.
