:DWelcome!!!!! I REALLY need to rehome a one year old rooster. He is a Silkie/Rosecomb mix. His sister is a Silkie/Americauna mix. They are both very pretty, and they are both pets. If you are the kind of chicken owner who would like a lap pet kind of chicken, let me know. He would be wrong for a cooped-up situation. He takes very good care of his sister, so she should accompany him. He crows loudly, all day long and sometimes at night, so we overnight him in our basement so he won't disturb neighbors. Not a problem if you don't live in town.

If you know anybody who can take on a lovey, trainable pet babyroo, please forward to me. We would like to take a roadtrip with the kids over christmas break, so we could combine delivery with a holiday roadtrip.

There are a lot of places, sure - but it may be tough to find a place this time of year - you can always mail order chicks or adult birds from Mypetchicken.com (great for small numbers) or http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com

    fun to look!
