Today I finished an apron for my grand daughter Jodi, age three!!
I think it turned out cute, I want to make one for myself out of this fabric.

Here are some photos of it.

I think the design will make it good for use in both the kitchen and the garden.
    It has SEVEN pockets!
One can't have too many pockets when they are three!
Here is a close up of six of the seven pockets. I used daisy buttons for decoration.

Here is a close up of the bib area with a "J" on the small top pocket.

Here is a photo of the gifts that went inside the large pockets.
Flower seeds, from my own garden in special personalized packages, a cute little garden set, with gloves, row markers, and the package is designed to be a "seedling starter". And then a couple of cookie cutters.

Then last but not least is the special tag, which took longer for me to make than the apron!
I hope she will like it.

Ok here is a photo of Jodi in her apron!

I am pretty sure she will love it. Better than any store bought toy, she will have it for a long time, and I will bet she will even keep that home made tag for a long time. I have a 7yr old dd and she just adores stuff like that. she will have fun planting the seeds and digging in the garden.

    great job!!

    Quote:Here she is,

Her mom told me she wanted to go out plant the flower seeds, but it is 28 and snowing there today!
I put this photo in the original post, but then realized it will not put the post at the top of the recent posts unless I put it in a new post!!
