new babies and weird packing peanuts

    i ordered 15 baby blue black and splash bantam cochins from ideal and they are so cute and i was wondering what breed do yall think the peanuts are......

    My RIR roos looked just like that when they were little, all my little girls has black chipmunk stripes on their backs and a black spot on the head. But the boys had white wings and basically looked JUST like them.

    Yup I actually called because I requested no peanuts and they came any way. RIR roosters and yours look just like mine did three weeks ago. Enjoy the babies.[​IMG]

    who did you buy from? I'm just wondering which hatcheries are back to adding packing peanuts. I guess it is getting cooler outside.

    I'm so new that I was trying to look in the background of your photos for the actual packing peanuts <sigh> I'm with you now. I'll get the hang of the chicken lingo eventually.
