New Babies have hatched/ Silkie Explosion

    Check this out! These chicks were not supose to hatch until today but they started yestered with 4 when I came home and this morning I think there are 20 out and more to come!!! Can't wait to get home today and see how many more I have.[​IMG]

    What an awesome hatch! Is that a styrofoam cooler?

    Yes, it is a very old styrofoam, I think it is a little giant.

    I had to put the incubator in our bedroom because it would not hold a steady temp in the basement.

    I did not get any sleep last night. You would not believe how noisy those chicks were. They kept chirping and rolling around the unhatched eggs on the wire bottom!!! They are cute little buggers though!!![​IMG]

    Oh, sorry, it is not a cooler, just an old incubator. I think I have had it about 20 years at least.
