One of my chickens became broody so we decided to let her hatch some babies.. we have a barred rock rooster and the eggs we collected were from by white leghorns and my brown leghorns. We marked each egg. Yesterday my girl hatched 3 of the 6 eggs (thinking more over the next day or two.) i was thinking the chicks would look similar do to the breeds. I have 2 yellow chicks with black spots on wings and one black chick. Any idea on the breed? Ive read you get a California grey when you cross the two breeds. I know all the eggs were leghorn eggs should the chicks look different from white or brown leghorn and my barred rock roo?

As they grow they will change in appearance, the black chick looking more a barred rock and the white with black spots more like the leghorn but maybe some barring of the father.
