My 11 month old broody Buff Orp just hatched out 6 new EE/Russian Orloff mix babies. I had given her 12 to sit on. She lost one to a crack on day 9 and 5 turned out to be infertile. She hatched this 6 little chipmunk looking cuties over the past 2 days. This is my first hatch and doubles the size of my little flock!

That is so sweet! I would love for one of mine to go broody and let mother nature do her thing. I hope to experience that someday. There is nothing cuter than a momma hen and her little babies trailing behind her or all cuddled up under her. Congratulations!
