After a long hard winter that started out with a weasel killing our 3 Black Cochins that my daughter had for 4H, we finally got some new babies for our coop.

    4 Houdans, 1 Americauna and 1 Australorp

Have no clue on the sex of the chickies, but am hoping that there is only one rooster and that is a Houdan.

Going to try to include some pictures of the new chickies and if anyone has any insight on the sex of them, it would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen my daughter since I brought these home. I think she is sleeping beside the brooder with them now !

Awwwww....I just love baby chicks! Yours are so cute, but they don't look like they're digging the slippery surface they're on.

Brooder is in my basement right now and I was putting them one by one on top of my freezer to get the pictures.

It is kinda cute how they look like they're walking on a frozen pond, especially your number 2 and 4 Houdan!
