New baby chick acting odd

So I bought 4 baby chicks from my local farm store. I done a fair bit of reading and got them all set up in a comfy warm place. Today I bought 2 more and one is half the size of the other chick and seems to just sleep. It doesn’t chirp much unless you pick it up and it will fall asleep in your hand a few seconds after. Is this normal??

Is the chick eating/drinking/pooping? Do you know about how old they are?

What bedding are you using, what does her poop look like? What breed, do you have a warm end and a cool end of the brooder? Can you post pictures of the brooder setup?

Well this morning I got up to check on the chick and it has died. I’m sad about it. When I got it he had been stepped on a lot and bullied by the chicks where I bought it. I tried to get it to eat and drink but nothing seemed to work.

Sorry for your loss. Some chicks are a failure to thrive situation, no matter what you do. It doesn't make it any easier.

x2, as it was smaller than the others and weaker as well. Good chance it wasn't going to survive no matter what you did for it.
