I received 7 baby chicks in the mail a few weeks ago and one had a problem eye and is now getting worse. I have been reading about eye worm and it seems to fit the description of this chick's eye; cloudy, half shut, swollen a bit and irritating the chick to scratch at it.

She is only around 2 or 3 weeks old and is a golden wyandotte. There are 6 others with her but of mixed breeds. They are under a heatlamp, eating chick starter grain and seem otherwise happy and healthy except for this one [IMG]

I just bought VetRx from our feed store and am hoping it will do the trick; my only problem is I do not know the treatment to give the chick. There has been multiple different instructions online of how to administer and how much if any to dillute it, and I am wary to listen to one not the other especially since it is a chick and not a full grown hen yet.

Does anyone know how I should treat this?

Thank you in advance for any advice!
