I FINALLY GOT MY CHICKS AFTER 5 YEARS OF WAITING. WE HATCHED 10 OUT OF 12 EGGS. THE GREAT LADY JONI AT DESTINY FARMS IN BRIGHTON GAVE THEM TO ME AND SAID "TRY THEM OUT". SHE DIDNT CHARGE ME FOR THEM, THEY WERE A LITTLE OLD AND SHE COULD NOT SELL THEM. SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND KIND. GOTTA LOVE FREE EGGS. I DONT KNOW THE BREEDS, SO IF ANYONE WANTS TO GUESS THAT WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS FOR EVERYONE HERE ALSO, I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS WITHOUT BYC. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

What a wonderful story! What cute chicks. Post more photos & I am sure that the folks on BYC can tell you what you've got.

Thanks all. Most of them have feathered feet. I have one yellow silkie that's all I know.
