hi everyone. I'm
New to the forum. I've recently received 4 baby chickens that are about 5-6 days old now. I started them
Off in a cardboard box and today I gave them a 16 sq ft upgrade. One of the guys had a little pasty butt. He wasn't happy having that pulled out but he will be in the long run. I have two frost white leghorns, a barnevelder, and one Rhode Island Red. Would love to know if ppl have had negative or positive experiences with these breeds and any advice for me going forward. I'm in south Florida and plan on moving them outside in about 4 weeks time. The pics are the first brooder, the girls, and the newest brooder.

I have a barnevelder. Just one, so I'm not sure how much my experience counts. She's a sweet girl. I will say her comb pinked up a lot earlier than I normally see in pullets, so don't get too scared that you have a cockerel if you see pink.
