New Backyard Chicken Owner!

Just had my first weekend with my brand new hens and gentleman I purchased the pullets from suggested I take a look at this website!

Currently have 4 hens, with plans to take on two more once I get the hang of this first group!

2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Ameraucana

I recently moved from the big city (Los Angeles) to Tacoma, WA where I was able to purchase a house with a large backyard and have a few co workers who love raising their chickens so I decided to give it a go! Love the idea of having fresh eggs and just having chickens in general is a shocker to friends/family back home so its great to see their faces when I show them pictures!

I'm sure I'll have so many questions going forward but excited to be apart of this community now!
