I met a very nice 82 y/o gentleman who works at the feed store I go to sometimes the other day. I can't believe I never met him before! He knew all kinds of stuff about chicknes and has 25 different breeds and over 200 chickens. Anyway, we hit it off right away and some how he said he wanted to give me some of his bantam RIRs! I only knew the man for 20 minutes!! So he arranged for me to come back to the store and pick them up today. He gave me a trio!! I made him some bread and brought soem black berry jam I made earlier for him, as he would not take any money for the birds.
So here they are! My first ever bantam Rhode Island Reds.

The roo, Strawberry. The hens are Rose and Petunia
(He has very crooked toes )

I need to work on getting their nails looking better, but I think they are pretty nice looking birds other then that. [IMG]
