New Born Dove Question

Hi,

I have a new born dove. It was born on 04/19. The mom and dad have been feeding it and it is growing in size.

It only rarely opens its eyes. The main concern I have is that is still not standing up on its own and is still crawling around the nest.

When can I expect it to stand up and walk around?

I fed it water from my hand and it took a few sips. I am really concerned about it fending for itself.

I fed it water from my hand and it took a few sips. The parents will look after all it's needs and you could run into problems by interfering. I am really concerned about it fending for itself. At sometime between 3 to 4 weeks of age it will be fending for itself.
