New brooder for new babies

Looky no touchy time. So I can not wait to get the newbies

    Mixed flock. Cream leg bar. Frost white leg bar Lakeshore egged and olive egger

    I just bought a larger plastic tote last night since my three Buckeye chick are outgrowing their tote. I have been putting an old window screen over the top of the current tote but was planning to put a hardware cloth insert into the top. So, the timing of your post couldn't be better for me! I wasn't sure what to use to fasten the HC to the lid. What kind of tape did you use? And, did you consider any other way to fasten it?

    I used zip ties. Then covered the edges with gorilla tape
