Hi only 1 egg out of 14 hatched. I was down to 5 on lockdown.
HE/she is yellowish on the back of its head has 2 black spots.
I have never owned a silkie and do not know much about their colors or when you can tell if it is a roo or hen.
Just learning thanks for any help,
    Carrie Fletcher

This is my silkie, poopie mess and all. My husband took it while I was sleeping or I would have cleaned up first. Sorry.
So can anyone tell me what color?

I'm thinking that black will disappear and it'll be a white one.
