Within the last 6 weeks I purchased 8 chicks from my local farm store; 6 layers and 2 guineas. 1st time raising chickens for me. I have been repairing my coop and run which was left by the previous owner in my barn. I am so fascinated with all the wonderful ideas everyone has; just can't seem to get enough information. I research chicken care or coop and run improvements daily. Deanna

Welcome to BYC, Deanna. Glad you decided to join our flock. There is definitely a wealth of chicken information on this site. Definitely check out our Learning Center link that Mountain Peeps has left you with. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What kind of layers do you have?
