Hello! My family just got 6 brand new chicks in the last 5 days. It's the first time we have ever had chicks. It's already a lot of work, but if we can get through these first few weeks I think it will be a great time.

We have two speckled hamburgs (lots of fun those to jail birds are already), two red sex links and two barred rock. Not having good luck with our two barred rocks though. I have already been searching this site and many others to help understand some common chick issues. Didn't realize how little sleep I would get with these munchkins.

Do you mean you are having "personality" issues with the barred rocks, or are they ill? Let us know and we can direct you to whatever information you may need.

Quote: They are ill. Different symptoms for both. I already been going through others threads and clicking on various links, and even posted for one. But I could use all the helpful material you have.
