Well, I'm not sure what to do. I've had chicks hatch with crook neck before but this guy isn't so much crooked as droopy. It's head is hanging between it's legs. It had trouble getting out of its shell, didn't zip around as far s needed but thinking that the shell was just extra hard (Marans) we took a little off the top to help it out. It is eating, drinking and moving around fine but drags its head between its legs. Hate to cull him but don't want him to suffer. Is this a birth defect?...a disease?...curable?...incurable?
Any answers are appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
