Hello everyone, I've been lurking around for several months now. My hubby bought me an incuview incubator for Christmas and I have black copper marans eggs on the way. Hopefully they get here just in time for the Valentine's day hatch-a-long. This is my first time hatching and I have read that black copper marans eggs are difficult to hatch, so I'm expecting a stressful, exciting, fun three weeks.

Welcome to the addiction! Also, beware, chickens are a gateway drug - before you know it you'll be looking to score some goats, a pig, etc ;-)

I'm not sure if you've seen it, but there is an entire thread on here regarding the IncuView Incubator: Incuview Incubator You may want to look at it in case there are any suggestions/tips for using it.

I hope the eggs get to you soon! Good luck with the future incubation.

Thanks everyone, it will be an adventure for sure. As for goats and pigs, it has been mentioned already, I'm just not ready for them yet.

Thank you and yes I have read that thread and many more. I've been reading a lot trying to learn as much as I can. Unfortunately, I have to read some of them twice [IMG]
