Welcome to Backyard chickens, the brown tab above that says "Learning Center," is the best place to start a chicken education. It has answers to questions, who haven't even thought of yet. I kid you not!

Hello all reaching out in hopes that someone can direct me to were i might find breeders that sell hacthing eggs that can be shipped. Not a big fan of ebay. Hatching chick is about the only part of chicken raising i have any expertise at. I have Hatched many chicks for other people with pretty good secess rate over 85% . I would also looking for good coop set ups not building ideas found loads of coops but not much luck with the best practices for ease and maintenance to raise healthy birds. This site is massive and being that I'm new still trying to find my BYC legs with out getting information overload. All of you have been so great I thank you all 4 your guidance

G’Day from down under Luckyjim55 [IMG] Welcome!

As you have already received some links to great starting points, I will just wish you and your flock all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
