I live in Idaho. So I recently started in with chickens. I have 5 I hatched myself.
2 Isbars
1 Swedish Flower
1 Maran
1 Golden Spitshauben (featured in avatar)
I also have 6 Mille Fluers I bought at 2 weeks old.
The Swedish Flower is 1/4 blind as she hatched early and can't fully open an eye. She is my special needs bird. Side note does anyone know if that can be fixed? They are about 8 weeks old now and man do I LOVE them. I have PTSD and I love sitting with them. I they calm me down. They are soooo spaztastic! They even crawl into my lap to sleep sometimes. I first got into them because I was sick of store eggs but they snagged me hard. I am addicted. To the whole process. Hatching them, watching them spaztasticly grow!! I catch myself looking at hatching eggs on Ebay all the time. I have 11 birds now and they are only 8 weeks. Lolol
When I sit outside I look like one of those pigeon covered homeless people in films only with chickens. :lau:lau
To bad I can't register chickens as therapy animals. I have a fear of having to move and get rid of them. They really do mean that much to me. I researched thoroughly before buying the eggs but there is always more to learn and I found myself learning alot of out here. So I joined! Thanks for all future guidance. Here are some of my favorite pictures through my chicken adventures.

Your chickens a beautiful and cute!
I know, store eggs stink. I am planning on doing an article about store eggs vs. farm eggs, so I am trying to gathered much info as I can, so, what don't you like about them?
I heard somewhere that you can list chickens as therapy birds, but that might not be true.
Between the massive cruelty in factory farming and how they "prepare" them I decided I was done with store eggs.
