Hey, my family and I just recently ordered 50 chickens from cackle hatchery, and my mom suggested i join if was interested. We are trying to figure out breeds and which ones are males and females. Although this is a little hard cuz they're only 1 week old today. But so far we are all having fun

If you can, post a pic of them and we might be able to identify some of the breeds. In a couple months, when their feathers have came in, you can post another picture and we may be able to help you identify the gender.

    Welcome to BYC!
Did you order one of their variety packs? If so, ,which one did you order? This will help in the list of potential breeds to consider and also whether they were one of the straight run packs or a sexed package.
