Good afternoon all! I'm new to this chicken "stuff" and someone directed me here. This site is pretty amazing! Today I went out to see my chickens and one of my ladies is all puffed up and not moving very fast. She's got a chalky yellow discharge from her vent - not a lot but something I haven't seen before. All my girls were hatched this spring so they're fairly young. Any one have ideas on what I need to do? Thanks in advance!

Hello buttercreamgal. Greetings from 'the rolling hills" of Kentucky! Welcome to BYC! It might be best if you post your question in the https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures section right here at BYC. You should get help there fast. I hope your sick girls gets better really fast.

Sometimes yellow poop 'can' mean worms. Have your chickens been wormed? Also, does her crop feel normal size in the morning before she eats?

Here is a poop chart in case you ever need it as a reference. (warning graphic)
