New Chicken Lady

    Hello everyone! phew i am sure glad i found this forum. As the title says i am new to owning chickens. ( well the whole family is) we only have two. LuAnn and Becky. They are White Horn Pullets ( i think)

    A little bit about me. Im 21 years old. We have other animals besides our chickens. we have four rabbits ( pets), Two cats and a dog. I am dog trainer and i have my own doggy day care. I am hoping to gain ALOT of knowledge from everyone here!

    I suspect your two are White Leghorns. ;)

    Most folks pronounce it "Leggern" unless they are talking about Foghorn Leghorn from the cartoons. After all, breaking down the breed name as written, "leg horns" sounds pretty odd. Horns on their legs, huh?!? :lau

    And yes white leg horns! haha i always for get. our one hen sounds like a horn sometimes she is a little loud!
