    Hello!

I just wanted to do a really quick intro since I've been finding tons of helpful stuff on your forum the past week. [IMG] I'm Sarah and I'm a new backyard chicken owner. About a month ago my 9-year-old daughter's class had eggs in an incubator. After the eggs hatched we adopted one (a Bovan White that I'm REALLY hoping is female [IMG]) and we also purchased a Rhode Island Red chick and a Bantam chick from a local farm store. My husband and I have thought of having chickens for years, so we are pretty excited. We live in town and are building a coop on the side of our large fenced in garden where the chickens will have access when we allow it and their own space when they need to stay out.
