Hi I have been stalking the site reading all about chickens for about a year when we bought our first chickens, two buff orpingtons who we lovingly call Minnie and Dolphin. I love those two girls and we have two new chicks we are going to be introducing to our flock a Rhode Island red named Edna and an ameraucana named Ducky. We are still really new to the chicken game and still have a lot to learn. Can't wait to learn from here.

:welcome! There's lot to learn here and it's a ton of fun. Chickens are addicting, so watch out! You may end up spending most of your free time here ;)

My first 2 weeks of being a new "chicken man" has really been fun.. amazing how fast they grow... this is all a learning experience... and exciting to watch my 14 hens and 1 little roo, that's only a week old..
