New Chicken Mom

    I have 4 new babies (chicks) this is my first
    Go at it. They are awesome and almost 2 weeks old. Any info is welcomed!

    One thing I can say right now..seeing in your back ground, that you have a big red heat lamp..using this light for this chick? If so, she is big enough she doesn't need that much heat now. :) Go with reg. light bulbs. Try a 75 for now, then down to 60 in 4 days, then down to 40 in another 4 days. [​IMG]

    When your chicks are 6 weeks old, you can post photos at "what breed or gender is this." Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens [​IMG]
