Hi! I thought I would say hi. I am new to owning chickens, I have four Easter Eggers and one silkie. They are about three months old. I will post pictures, I am curious if they are male or females. I also have a three year old who loves helping me with the chickens!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I used to raise Black Silkies, and they were delightful little chickens; sweet, gentle, friendly, and funny. My children made lap pets of them. I still have Easter Eggers in my flock and they are my granddaughter's favorites as she loves their colored eggs. If you would like your birds sexed, just post some pics of them on our What Breed or Gender is This? section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this and let our experts there take a look at them. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
