New Chickens

Hello, I am getting a trio of 4 month old white Cochins this week. I have a flock of full grown chickens, a flock of 12 week old chickens , and (2) 8 week old silkies. Where should I put my new Cochins? I only have 3 pens so I don't know where to put them. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Without any information on your setup (how many pens or coops you have, how big any of those spaces are - feet by feet, not just "big enough"), it's impossible for us to help you out. I do have to ask - why are you getting more if you don't have a place to put them?

I have plenty of room for them. I just don't know which flock to put them in based in the age of them. I can put them wherever I want. I just want to know what age group flock to put them in.

LOL...I'll ditto bobbi-j's question and comment......'plenty of space' is as bad as 'big enough'.

But since you don't seem to want to share that info.....

Put them in the coop that has the most extra space....none of the resident birds are going to be happy to have new birds move in.
Integration is always best with lots and lots of space.

Have you ever done an integration?
