New chickens

I have recently introduced some new chickens to my old flock. They are all about the same age. There of course has some pecking order been going on. But I’ve noticed that my older flock goes outside when I open the little door to the run but my new flock just seems to stay inside the coop majority of the day. I have a 12x 20 coop and a 20x20 run. Will they adjust and start going outside???

Eventually. My chicks did that exact thing this spring

I've noticed this when I integrate new chicks in my 16x16 coop. Once they're out of the integration pen and free to roam the coop they tend to stay inside for several weeks before venturing out into the run with the adults.
