Hi everyone! I am brand new to backyard chicken keeping so I have a ? We got 4 laying hens 2 days ago, told they are good layers. So far no eggs! does it take them time to acclimate to a new home? should we just give them time or should we think we have a problem? I know we have 1 RIR but not sure about the others. two lay white eggs and two lay brown. Thanks for your help!

Greetings from Oregon! [IMG] Your hens are stressed out from the move to new surroundings. Give them time to settle in and get used to all the newness. You might get a surprise egg but I would think it would be at least a week or so...patience!! [IMG]

Thank you, do chickens like a partition up between the nesting boxes?
