Well I used look on here everyday for new chick pics. Until i got 2 barred rocks. my dad said we would never have egg layers. i sure proved him wrong =] if anyone has any info on them i would be happy to know! I got them from the "chick days" at my local mill.

sad sad sad news =[
i lost mary on saturday.
literitally lost her i came home from a friends on sunday
and she wasnt in her brooder.
i think she died =[
my dad and mom looked EVERYWHERE
and we couldnt find her.
so my dad and i talked about it and he told me to just keep josie and we wouldnt get anymore =[
but then TUESDAY he comes home with guess what?
TWO red sex links =] and now i have 1 barred rock and 2 red sex links. i am so happy. just sad that i lost mary. =[
so i have 3 laying hens im happy!!! ill have pictures later
cant tell the difference between them though, they are very similar looking
