new chicks and cold weather...

Just ordered 25 more Americauna pullets from Ideal. I am concerned about the fact that I live in ND and it is getting into the 40s at night now. Anyone had any problems shipping under these conditions?

I did read some old posts it seemed ok if temp is that hight, some people had trouble with some of the spring storms but temps were upper teens...I raised mine from eggs so no personal experience...my adults were shipped though in late Feb which means they survived those temperatures...I just bought them as a couple of weeks old off Craig list. mary
