Do I need to keep the heat on them until they feather out? It's been in the high 70s most days.
Also, I was thinking that the best way to introduce my 4 month olds to them is to put the babies in a dog crate in the chicken pen? I figured they could get use to seeing each other and hopefully not want to peck the dickens out of the chicks when they get added ft.
