We just lost one of our very loved drakes on sunday so this is a nice boost for the hoMestead

We lost one, our poultry dude told us she was very weak, and gave her to us to try.
We still have 6 bouncing babies.

That happens. Have you slipped chicks before? It helps if the chicks are a bit cold, then they find that warm spot and burrow in tight.

It IS. This is our first time! Puma is an excellent momma- so proud of her.

Two chicks passed. The chicks that didn't make it were both black sumatras. Were super tiny. The remaining one is perky but def the smallest. I dont know if they tend to be fragile
