New chicks with older chicks?

I have 4.5-5week old chicks now who wont go outside until 8 weeks because coop still need some work but is still under snow....is it possible to keep new day/week olds with them or should I keep everyone separate?

I would keep them separate, the size difference might cause issues plus their heat requirement is different. Depending on your brooder set up and space (because as the older ones grow they'll need more and more space) you might be able to put a divider in your brooder to keep them apart, but if there's not much space it would be better to go with a second brooder.

Agree.... a 10 day difference in size and age was as far as I was ever willing to push it.
