Hi there, we went to a nearby farm and bought a Black Minorca ( few weeks old), a Light Sussex, and a Wyandotte Gold Lace( both a few days old), so in total with the 5 shavers, we have 8 birds, I feel like a proper poultry keeper now we have other varieties. If any one has any tips on the chicks as we've never had chicks before, they'd be welcome.[IMG]

I love having a variety of chickens. They each have their own personalities. Make sure you keep the chicks seperate for 4 weeks to guard against passing any illness to the other birds. If they are only a few weeks old, they still need plenty of heat, so I would keep them insde until they are fully feathered.
